Every journey begins with a single step. My journey into cryptoblogging begins the same way. Let me tell you about who I am. No, you don't get real names or any such; the name of the game is anonymity. I am anonymous, but I chose the nom de travail of "The Great Mogul" because of my own life. The original "Great Mogul" was the emperor of the Mogul (Mughal/Mongol) Empire, founded by Babur and established in the early 1500s. Traders came from all over the world to buy and sell goods with India, and were impressed by the riches of the Great Mogul, which is why "mogul" is a term for a wealthy businessman. I chose that name because of who I am and what I have to offer. I'm doing research on the various Mongol empires as a historian. History is one of those fields that's incredibly useless in the wrong hands, but if you understand the past you can predict the future. I aim to do exactly that and get rich day trading. We'll see if my advice is worthwhile or worthless, but my background in history is the basis of my credentials here, and why I think I'm worth listening to. My other qualifications: I'm really good at math. I never pursued it, but I can do calculations in my head and I was once hired as a math teacher on that basis alone. You won't get far in the world of crypto without good number sense, and I can say I definitely have that. I've also been surrounded by crypto for the past couple of years. I watched my friends try out this new hobby of mining Bitcoin on their laptops. Then they bought miners. It was about the time that one of my friends told me he was the proud owner of $200,000 worth of Bitcoin that I stopped laughing at this hobby and started piecing together all the bits of knowledge I learned from them to try to do it myself. When another friend trapped in a miserable day job told me he planned to buy a Tesla with daytraded Bitcoin, I knew I had to get in this market. When I figured out how to wrest BTC from the aether, I resolved to make this blog and explain it to the rest of the world. So let's talk about my motives for doing that. You see one of those people selling a get-rich-quick book and your first question is "Well if it's so foolproof, why aren't you doing it?" Reading this blog will not make you rich, and it probably won't even make me rich. I've learned some tricks and worked out some ideas along the way, but nothing foolproof. All the same, I'd rather you who are reading this to make money off of crypto than one of the many vultures of our modern world. Perhaps my advice can further that along in its own little way, and crypto can belong to the people instead of the companies, as was the idea in the first place. So with no further ado, welcome to the court of the Great Mogul. Let's make some money.
